Your Favorite U.S. Bartenders Embark on TOTC with Azuñia

Bartenders make us look (and taste) good. And for that, we are grateful. Without them reaching for Azuñia when they’re making their favorite tequila cocktail, we wouldn’t have the following we do. In a few days, some of America’s most famous bartenders from across the states will be descending on New Orleans for Tales of the Cocktail, a spirits industry event.

These 9 master mixologists will be hanging out and making tequila magic at Tales’ U.S. Cocktail Bars Tour event brought to you by Azuñia Tequila:

Ingredients:
2 oz Azuñia Black 2-year Extra Aged, Special Reserve Añejo Tequila
0.5 oz Aveze Gentian
0.5 oz Royal Combier
3 tsp Piri Piri Tincture

Garnish:
Dehydrated Blood Orange Wheel
Dehydrated Lemon Wheel
Basil Blossoms
Jasmine Flowers
Thyme Sprig

Instructions:
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice.
Stir.
Strain into a glass.
Garnish.

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Azuñia Blanco Organic Tequila
0.25 oz Bruto Americano
1 oz Cucumber Juice
1 oz Lemon Juice
1 oz Hibiscus Syrup
2-3 dashes Regan’s Orange Bitters

Hibiscus Syrup Recipe:
1 pint Dried Hibiscus Flowers
1 tsp Pink Peppercorns
3 Orange Peels
Boil all ingredients in 32 oz water. Strain and add equal parts sugar.
Yields approximately 44 oz.

Instructions:
Add all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice.
Shake.
Strain into a glass.

0.25 oz Yellow Chartreuse
0.75 oz Tamarind Curry Syrup
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz Coconut Milk

Garnish:
Paprika Dusted Lime Wheel

Instructions:
Add all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice.
Shake.
Strain into a glass.

Juice Recipe:
10 granny smith apples
6 oz peeled ginger
2 bunches or 5-6 ounces fresh cilantro
Cold press / juice together
Add 2 oz lemon juice for acidulation

Garnish:
Fresh Oregano Sprig
Cracked Black Pepper

Instructions:
Add all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice.
Shake.
Strain into a glass.
Garnish.

1 oz Watermelon Juice
0.75 oz Pink Peppercorn Syrup
1 dash Tajin

Watermelon Cube
Pink Peppercorn/Atomize Grapefruit Juice

Instructions:
Add all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice.
Shake.
Strain into a glass.

1.75 oz Azuñia Reposado Organic Tequila
0.5 oz Rancio Sec
1 Brspn St. George Nola Coffee Liqueur
0.75 oz Lime Juice
0.75 oz 1:1 Pineapple Syrup
4 dashes Workhorse Rye Salted Cacao Bitters

Pineapple Syrup:
Juice 1-2 whole pineapples through juice extractor.
Add equal parts sugar.
Stir until dissolved.

Instructions:
Add all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice.
Shake.
Strain into a glass.

The Drink
Ingredients:
1.75 oz Azuñia Añejo Tequila
1.25 oz Cucumber Water
0.75 oz Lemon Juice
0.5 oz Star Anise & Makrut Lime Syrup
3 dashes b’LURE Tincture

Cucumber Water:
Blend one large cucumber with one cup of water.
Strain trough a fine strainer.

Anise Star & Makrut Lime Syrup:
1 quart of water
2 quarts of sugar
2 cups of anise stars
1 cup of makrut lime leaves.
Stir ingredients and bring it to boil.
Momentarily reduce heat and simmer covered for 5 minutes.
Cool slowly and strain.

Instructions:
Add all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice.
Shake.
Strain into a glass.
