Persimmon Cocktail

Our friend Yvonne Mendez has created a persimmon cocktail that indeed, should not be cooped up. Combining Azuñia Reposado organic tequila, Besamim Liqueur, Monin Winter Citrus Syrup, persimmon syrup and pink lemonade, the Roo is an original drink as stunning as the most fanciful breed of its namesake.

The Roo
  • 1½ oz Azuñia Reposado Organic Tequila
  • ¾ oz Besamim Liqueur
  • ¾ oz Monin Winter Citrus Syrup
  • ½ oz Homemade Persimmon Syrup
  • 2 oz pink lemonade
  1. Pour all ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Shake.
  3. Strain in rocks glass with ice.
