Argentine Old Fashioned

Serves: 1 Drink
  • 2 oz Asada-infused Azuñia Añejo* Tequila
  • .5 oz Cocchi di Torino Vermouth
  • .5 oz Amaro Montenegro
  • 2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters
  1. Preparation: Stir
  2. Strain
  3. *Asada-infused Azuñia Añejo:
  4. Infuse 1 bottle Añejo with leftover Asada rendered fat (after cooking), probably ½ cup.
  5. Put ingredients together into a plastic container and let sit overnight.
  6. The next morning put infusion into the freezer.
  7. Allow fat to separate and strain the liquid out of the container through a coffee filter.
  8. Infused Tequila should taste meaty and smoky, but have no residual fat in the liquid.
Glass: Old Fashioned or Rocks
Garnish: Orange Peel
