We’re taking the prohibition-era drink, The Last Word, and transporting it to the 21st Century in our tequila version. Subbing in Azuñia Blanco organic tequila for the traditional gin, mellows La Primera Palabra, our twist on the old-time libation. Equal parts Green Chartreuse, Luxardo Maraschino and fresh lime juice, make the cocktail an ideal batch cocktail. It’s simple to serve – no ice and no garnish, this cocktail is meant to be enjoyed straight up.
Combine ingredients into shaker and add ice.
Shake for 10 seconds.
Strain with a Hawthorne strainer into glass.
